What is the Rappahannock Area Disability Network?
Purpose – The purpose of the Rappahannock Area Disability Network is to foster communication, cooperation and collaboration between organizations and agencies whose purpose is to provide services or support to people with disabilities in the region.
Membership – Any organization or agency that provides services or support to people with disabilities in the region and subscribes to the purpose of the Network can be a participating member. The Chair shall maintain a list of active members.
Officers – The Network shall have a Chair and Vice-chair and other officers as deemed necessary by the members. Chair – May call meetings of the Network and its committees. Shall preside over meetings of the Network. Vice-chair – Shall serve as the Chair in the absence of the Chair.
Meetings – The Network shall meet as necessary to effectively further the purpose of the organization. The meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of each month at noon at the Disability Resource Center, 409 Progress Street, Fredericksburg but click here for information on upcoming meetings.
Committees – The Network from time to time establishes ad-hoc committees to further the purpose of the Network.
